Produced by the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation and named for Tom Dent (the late jazz scholar and cultural activist, who was also an early Foundation board member and later an Executive Director), this lecture series promotes the understanding and appreciation of New Orleans indigenous culture and related issues.
